What's the Matte-r?

One of the new trends this year has been Matte nail polish. It has no shine and the color is true to what you see in the bottle. First we were skeptical, we thought the Matte color would look dull and dry but we were really surprised by it! We tried out Sephora by OPI's Matte Polish in black and purple. It looked real clean and more defined. We definitely will be wearing matte for a while. It looks great on darker complexions, and really brings out undertones. Matte is best for brighter colors because it cuts down on the shine that over emphasizes a color's brightness. Keep your eyes out for a Matte gray or yellow.
